YEU has conducted a thorough safety review of its campus facilities to ensure a secure beginning to the spring semester, in line with mandates from provincial and municipal authori‐ties. On February 7th, YEU hosted a key conference to outline these safety requirements. De‐partment heads responsible for logistical support participated in discussions about implement‐ing essential tasks in areas such as fire prevention, campus traffic management, food safety, and mental health support. This collaboration emphasizes the importance of caution in safety matters. To prepare for the semester, all YEU units have been tasked with identifying and address‐ing potential hazards on campus. The meeting was led by Cheng Ruping, deputy secretary of the Party Committee at YEU, who highlighted the collective responsibility of the university community in maintaining a safe learning environment. By prioritizing these safety measures, YEU reaffirms its commitment to fostering a se‐cure atmosphere that supports the well-being of all students and staff as the new semester be‐gins. (Lin Yan)
