The younger generation has recently become less inclined to participate in "military-style" tourism, which is characterized by hurried sightseeing excursions that visit as many tourist attractions as possible in a condensed period of time. Instead, young travelers are increasingly opting for city walks. They ride their bikes through the city or take a leisurely stroll with a few friends, going at their own pace. Whether they have a set itinerary or not, those city walkers use their feet to map out the entire breadth of the city, taking in its vitality and unique atmosphere as they get up close and personal with its fundamental fiber. What do you think of a city walk? A city walk is a new and relaxing way to explore urban areas through a slow-paced and immersive experience. It is a way for adults to entertain and broaden their horizons with mini-mal consumption. It is exhilarating to experience the pulse of a brightly lit city with one's ownsenses, particularly footsteps. Without a plan, one walks aimlessly through the city, discovering ev-erything that catches his attention along the way and going where his heart leads him. It is a means of becoming fully immersed in the environment and bringing oneself into balance with both the natural world and one's own thoughts. City-walking emphasizes a free, relaxed, and spontane-ous experience in contrast to carefully planned itineraries and photo tours. As a result, city walk-ers can have more experiences that suit their pref-erences. City walks are inexpensive, much like "military-style" travel. However, city walking concentrates on the quality of tourism as opposed to "military-style" tourism, which is more con-cerned with the number of attractions visited. The days of young people bragging about how many places they've been are long gone. Quite the reverse—they start to realize just how much they have gained from the trip. Quality prevails over quantity. Undoubtedly, the statement "I have gained knowledge from this location" is preferable to the image projecting "I have visited this location. " The young prefer to experience, even if only to a limited extent, another way of life rather than simply observe it. Just as Rousseau pointed out, "If you only want to get to a place, you may ride in a post-chaise; if you want to travel, you must go on foot." In the modern era, city walkers are travelling for the sake of travel. Why not take a city walk in your dream lo-cation?
