We were born under the red flag and grew up in the spring breeze, with the shining five stars regarded as the target of worship and loyalty. The accumulation of more than 5,000 years has nurtured the splendid Chinese civilization, and a hundred years' arduous journey has opened up a new chapter. Today, we celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the establishment of the PRC. In the past 73 years, we have gone through trials and tribulations, striving for self-improvement and creating a new chapter.

Born in a prosperous age, we are to shoulder our mission. Every generation has their respective responsibilities. The future belongs to the youth, and hope is also entrusted to the care of the youth. We should strive for self-improvement and spare no effort to attain the dream of a strong country. A strong youth makes a strong country. Whatever era it should be, young people have their mission and responsibility. Looking back, young people who had faith and were willing to endure hardships changed the backward old China. At present, young people who have dreams and dare to take responsibility have created one miracle after another. Looking forward to the future, young people with goals and beliefs will open up a new chapter. As the mainstream of the country's development and the backbone of national rejuvenation, the youth should be guided by the great national spirit and continue to compose the glory of China with passion and diligence.

We should always bear in mind and practice the national spirit with patriotism as the core, and the spirit of the times with reform and innovation as the core, as well as take a firm stand. We, young people in the new era, should strive to be a model of the age by facing difficulties head-on with courage, perseverance, innovation, and dedication. We, the youth, should form a good outlook on life, values, and worldview while adhering to a noble personality to shape a remarkable moral style and reflecting on ourselves three times a day. We, the youth, should consciously distinguish right from wrong, reinforce our spirit of nobility while staying away from vulgar culture, and enrich ourselves by broadening our horizons.

Chairman Mao once said, "The world is at the hand of the youth. Young people are in full bloom, like the sun at eight or nine o'clock in the morning. Hope rests on the youth." We, the youth, will dedicate ourselves to the peace and prosperity of the country.
