I feel honored to contribute ( 贡献) English articles to the newspaper and deliver the papers to every class. I like this big family a lot, so thank you very much, Ms. Tang!

●初三（3）班易梓烨

First of all, words are the basis of an article. If you want to improve the quality of an article, try reciting（背诵）new words and you will find it easy to write. What's more, your article will be more attractive and splendid. Secondly, reading books is necessary. Never complain that you don't have enough time to read books, and it's helpful to read regularly. You can read a variety of books, like autobiographies（自传）, fic-tion（ 小说）and even collections of poems (诗歌) for different effects. Autobiographies can help you broaden your horizons, fiction can open up  your imagination（想象力）, and poems can help you appreciate the beauty of words. Finally, if you want to write something, remember to select a theme（主题）. We may not be great writers now, or have enough imagination to write something profound（意义深远的）, but if we observe（观察）life, we will find that it's the greatest source for writing.

I'm so glad that I can be a reporter. From my point of view, English plays a very important role in our daily life, so it's necessary for us to learn it. The newspaper gives me a chance to improve my English and I have learned a lot in the club. Join us and start your English journey!

●初三（7）班梁铭烨

There are many skills involved in writing, such as how to choose a word, make a sentence, start a paragraph(段), and more. Only by mastering these basic writingskills can one write English articles with ease. Firstly,  pay attention to your accumulation (积累) of language and write down some good words and sentences when you're reading, then try to memorize them . Secondly, your context should be consistent ( 一致的), and we should use some linking words and phrases to make the context coherent (连贯的). Thirdly, Flexibly (灵活地) use key sentences. They are very important, improving the quality and polishing ( 润色) your composition. But skills alone are not the only conditions ( 条件) for success, so we should alsopractice often, such as by writing an  English diary or an outline (提纲) for what you have read. We can also find a writing partner to supervise ( 监督) and urge (督促) us on as we learn and improve together.

●初三（7）班郭炜琪

When I was in Grade 7, I was lucky enough to join a team of journalists（记者）. I saw so many articles published（发表）in our paper and the Shenzhen Daily by other students and I admired（羡慕）them very much. They were full of confidence and I wanted to be like them. After three years of school life, I grew from a beginner to what I had expected to be. Like them, I published an article in the Shenzhen Daily. Although it is not as creative as their articles, I am still happy with it.

●初三（7）班钟盛琪

How can we be good reporters? First of all, we should be dedicated (专注的). Secondly, in writing articles, we can find some good examples online that will help improve our writing.  reading some useful and interesting news so that we can learn how to write news reports. Finally, practice will help us make fewer grammatical mistakes.

●初三（8）班陈曦

First, don't be afraid of learning English. If you give it up at the beginning, you'll never learn it well. Second, it's necessary to have a rich vocabulary, so use a notebookto write down any words  you see for the first time. Third, be bold and ask your teachers for help, and read English every day. This can help you develop a sense for the language. As a reporter, you can get many chances to exchange your ideas with others in English. Just like writing articles in Chinese, life is the basis（基础）of English articles, and this can help us think more deeply. There are many advantages to being a reporter and I'm certain that you will be attracted by how fun it makes learning English.

●初三（8）班罗小宁

Firstly, it is necessary for us to have a good foundation （基础）for English writing. At first, I was not good at writing, so I wrote an English dairy every day and paid attention to interesting phrases（词组）. It was really helpful! Secondly, it is a good idea to pay attention tothings around  us. I am often aware of the things that have happened around me so I can get lots of writingideas.  Thirdly, we should contribute to, and take part in, English writing activities regularly because this will not only improve our ability, but also make teachers pay more attention to us. In addition, we can listen to some English songs and watch movies, which will help us increase our  vocabulary and is an interestingway to improve the quality（质量）of our writing.

●初三（8）班黄宜婷

Some students may consider writing as a task only for exams and ignore (忽略) the real joy of writing. It makes them so bored that they ignore writing, so let me explain how to write a wonderful composition and how interesting it can be. First of all, you should ensure (确保) the correctness of your composition, so you'd better not use the words that you are unfa-miliar（不熟 悉的）with because it may reduce ac-curacy（ 准确性）. But, if you want to use some ad-vanced（ 高级的）words to make it more wonderful, you can first collect new words through daily life. Itnot  only helps you learn words but also improves your reading. Last but not least, you should always stay confident in your English writing. Writing is an important skill and also an interesting activity, so we should work harder and harder to make our compositions wonderful.

●初三（9）班江明轩

Writing English articles is one good way to improve English, but how should we write? First of all, before we write, we must know commonly used English words. In addition, we have to master (掌握) some knowledge of English grammar and if something is unclear, we should try to understand it step by step, using dictionaries and other resources（资源）. Second, there are many skills involved with writing in English. The key is to make the passage clear, concise ( 简洁的), and well-structured. Third, you should first consider the content, ask yourself what to write,and then think  about it in English so you will have a clear idea. Finally, we should remember“Practice makes perfect”. Most well-known writers did not write amazing works at the beginning. They improved by working hard at the writing process, so we should also practice writing English when we can. We can write weekly diaries and text abstracts (摘要) or find a writing partner to help supervise and to learn from.

●初三（14）班曾佳怡

This is my third year of being a reporter. I've come a long way and gained many useful skills in improving written English. Although I also met many troublesduring these years, I never gave up,  spared no effort （不遗余力）, and kept working. Now I am much more experienced than I was three years ago. As the famous saying goes,“Genius（天才）is one percent inspiration（灵感）and 99 percent perspiration（汗水）.”Therefore, just stick to your dream and you'll succeed.

I feel very honored to be a writer for our paper! A long time ago, my English teacher told me to write an article about my summer holiday. I remembered learning English in Hong Kong and decided to write about itand became a writer. The article was praised a lot by  my teacher, and I still feel surprised because everything changed that day, so all of us can be lucky writers if we would like to write articles. 

Writing articles in a foreign language is interesting and doesn't have to be difficult, so I want to share the easy practical way I did it. First of all, I introduced the whole experience. Second, I wrote about my feelings during the experience. Finally, I made a summary (总结) of what I gained and made the sentences better. 

In addition, being brave to write and trying to be crazy about writing is of prime importance for everywriter. Don't be afraid of writing  a bad article in the beginning because many things are difficult before they are easy. Keep trying to accumulate（积累） wonderful words and include them in your article,and day by day you will  become a great writer!

● 一实初三（9）班黄馨莹

It was about two years ago when I first met Ms. Tang. I was glad when I became a reporter because I learnt a lot and started to love writing. I would read Teens（21 世纪报）in my spare time, and there are many wonderful sentences in it, so they help me with my English. Not everyone can do anything well the first time, but you will do better by practicing. So, why not try writing an article for our newspaper? I hope our paper will keep getting better and better!

At first, I was very nervous because my English was not very good and I didn't know how to write my article. However, I read a saying that said“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step（千里之行始于足下）.”With that in mind, I began to write some simple sentences, and although my writing didn't improve much at first, I kept practicing. Finally, my English became better, so don't be shy! Start writing now, and you will begin to make progress!

●一实初三（9）班谭晶灵

At first I was not good at writing. I didn't know how to express my feelings exactly and sometimes my articles were not fluent, so I was determined to solve these problems and improve my writing. Thanks to our paper, I learnt new words and good sentences and could read wonderful model essays. My writing skills became better and better and I got a chance to write acomposition. I felt  nervous because I was wondering if someone would laugh at it, but my worries were su-perfluous ( 多余的). As time went on, I published many articles, and I am more confident than before. Ihope more and more students will enjoy writing English  articles. If you are wondering how to write excellent compositions, it's a great idea for you to read our paper and try to learn a lot from it. Just try and you could have an excellent harvest (收获) of knowledge.
